Yin and Flow

A combining practise of long held passive yin poses interweaved with the flow of graceful and gentle movement as we embrace the element of water and invite that fluidity into our bodies and into our collective experiences. Harnessing in turn the 'jing' energy of the kidneys so we release old fears, old limiting beliefs and welcome in greater truth and vitality.

Sunday 19th November, 5 p.m to 7 p.m

Yin and Awakening the Spine

Our spinal column forms a key part of our central nervous system along with our brain. Connecting with this part of us helps to increase mobility, not just physically, but a sense of overall flexibility meaning we can start to lessen mental rigidities and destructive patterns. Using yin poses to open up the three major parts of the spine, cervical, thoracic and lumbar and how it feels to release excessive tension, be it physical or emotional, out of this powerful structure.

Sunday 10th December, 5 p.m to 7 p.m

Yin and the Magic of the Serpent

Some of you know my interest in shamanic wisdom. This year, having completed a Master Apprenticeship in the alchemy of a rich tradition based on the Peruvian curendero culture of the Andes, I feel more and more the power of the Serpent and how this energy can help us to heal on many levels. How we can explore the darker aspects of ourselves to understand with greater depth what old stories we might be holding in our bodies, what messages too might be held deep within our ancestral DNA.

In this workshop we call in this ancient wisdom and discover what we are ready to shed, like the snake, preparing us to shed the year ready for the newness of 2018.

Yin is suitable for all levels.

Workshops continue at Training Points in Crystal Palace and are £25 paid on the day. Kindly note cancellation fee of full price may be applied for less than 48 hours notice.

You are welcome to bring your own mat but there are also lovely mats at the studio.
